The second newsletter from Acticut International has now been released.
Much has happened since May but we can’t report about everything. In this edition you can for example read about our new employee Henrik Akesson who will be researching on Milling and Turning.

First edition of the Acticut International newsletter finished!
The need for a newsletter has been apparent to us for some time now. We have therefore gathered our strength and assembled a good and easy to read report of the most important events during recent six months. Additional newsletters are expected and we have set ourselves to produce at least two letters per year. The newsletter is released completely in English to reach our international audience.

Acticut is delighted to announce that it was awarded first prize at the Technical Fair in Stockholm was given the so-called MinSTa Embeddedprize 2006 given by IM Embedded-Technology and Elektronikindustriföreningen (EIF), teknIQ-expert competens in intelligent products along with minST expert competens mikro/nano systemteknik, in cooperation with Elektronik i Norden and the Technical Fair.

It is with great pleasure that I write about our activity in Acticut International AB, and especially about the subsidiary company Acticut AB.
To begin with I would first like to inform you about the ongoing work in Acticut International AB.
I am happy to report that all stockowners in Acticut AB have positively agreed to trade their stocks for new ones in Acticut International AB. No stockowner has reported an interest in selling. In fact, many stockholders have selected to acquire more stock which is seen as an acknowledgement that current owners are excited about the future of the company. Work continues in consolidating Acticut International AB through acquisition, financing and overall strategic actions.
The activity in Acticut AB has developed very well. An intense work in development has resulted in finished products, well within of what our costumers need.
Ongoing tests in an industrial environment have provided results that verify the products great abilities. With great efforts of our skilled personnel and our network in different areas of knowledge, we have, in record breaking time, taken the step from prototype to product. Further information can be found under "Products".
In parallel to this development and financing, we have actively worked towards finding effective solutions to age old problems within the cutting industry. Our aim is to present Acticut's unique products together with other product and service offerings from within the Acticut International group.
We have, in this sense, enjoyed excellent feedback demonstrating a high level of positive interest in our product and service solutions. We are excited for the future growth of Acticut International and its daughter companies.

From the 3rd to 6th of October 2006 we will be at the Technical fair in Stockholm, together with other nominees for the Large Embedded Prize presented by "Elektronik i Norden" during the fair. In this context, we also hope to demonstrate one of our products on an Okuma lathe, as a part of the newly opened cooperation with Stenbergs in Nässjö.
We have during this year been awarded the following prizes:

We have, during this time, participated in different scientific reports and also given presentations by our own personnel at conferences located in different parts of the world. We have also participated in papers like "Aktuell Produktion", "Verkstadstidningen", "Tidningen Verkstäder", "Verkstadsforum" as well the local press in Värnamo and Falkenberg.
The work we have done during this year positions us well to reach our goals in our selected target markets. It is now time to focus on business and at the same time, build a platform for continued, solid growth.
Our policy towards the market and customers are "Your Success Is Our Mission". With this attitude, we see a great future for Acticut International and its daughter companies.
